FAQ

Plaquex contains the phospholipid called polyunsaturated phosphatidylcholine (PC), which is an important component of cell membranes in our body. It plays an important role in the passage of high-density lipoprotein (HDL) and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol to and from the cells in the blood. PC also acts as a receptor for certain hormones, neurotransmitters, etc.

But as we ages or due to some other factors like high blood pressure, heavy metal poisoning, hypertension, free radicals, etc., our body finds it difficult to produce PC to repair cell damage. This can also increase the risk of several deadly diseases. For instance, the absence of PC may cause the accumulation of plaque deposits in blood vessels and increase the risk of heart attacks and liver and kidney damage. Plaquex infusion is the process of administering a compounded medicine that contains polyunsaturated phosphatidylcholine (PC) intravenously.

Plaquex infusion therapy offers the following benefits:

  1. Plaquex treatment prevents plaque accumulation and restores the cell membrane’s functionality.

  2. It is crucial for avoiding strokes since it promotes blood flow and circulation.

  3. Plaquex treatment also maintains your health by controlling your cholesterol.

The anesthetic drug, ketamine, is administered through an IV to treat moderate to severe chronic pain that hasn’t adequately responded to other treatments. Ketamine is an N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor antagonist that works by blocking the NMDA receptor in the brain and spinal cord. Basically, this stops pain signals from being transmitted across the nerves to the brain and causes the body to release endorphins, which are natural painkillers. While the idea of using ketamine for pain management may seem a bit scary at first, it is actually one of the safest medications used in healthcare facilities, with a very low-risk profile. In fact, it has been in use for more than 50 years as an anesthetic agent!

Yes! Ketamine infusions are a safe method of managing chronic or intense pain when oral medications are not effective. Many patients have success with this treatment method because it targets the source of the pain rather than masking the discomfort. Patients who have undergone this type of treatment report medication benefits that last for months or even years after the initial procedure.

If the dosage is tailored to your individual needs, you can take comfort in the fact that your body will not build a tolerance for the medication over time. That means you won’t need to take a higher dose each time to achieve the same pain relief results. You can continue to rely less on your pain medications and experience the benefits of this therapy in the long term instead. This is a safe and effective treatment option for severe migraines, fibromyalgia, or other chronic pain conditions that do not respond to other treatments or prescription medications.
